As everyone knows, in view of the recent military operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of sovereign Ukraine, a discriminatory campaign has begun to isolate Russian citizens in areas not related to politics, such as sports, culture, etc. In this regard, there is a risk of blocking Steam in the territory that falls under the sanctions of the West (Russia, Belarus, etc.), which our gamer's club Iranta, independent of politics, considers unacceptable, because it goes against the concepts of democracy and civility. We believe that videogames should be independent of politics, because their combination corrupts the very essence of these same videogames, which are created for entertainment purposes and should, on the contrary, serve as an anti-stress during this nervous time.


We hope that the leadership of Steam and the gamers of the world will listen to the voice of reason and will not become participants in these "political games".
