In it's current state this is just a worse version of the first game with an added NPC you can assign chores to.

A good chunk of the build options from the first game are just not in the game at all right now which I find weird. From what I could see you can't even make rafts or log sleds anymore?

The map is way oversized and devoid of anything interesting. We were just holding W for 5-10 minutes at a time while we walked to the next point of interest, killing the occasional native on the way with mediocre combat mechanics.

Not worth buying at the moment.
