I'm incredibly torn on how I felt about this game. If you enjoyed Beneath a Steel Sky there's enough here to tickle that nostalgia and for you to enjoy yourself, but the game itself was just...meh. It's personal preference but I found the ending absolutely unsatisfying. It's the problem with continuing a story after the "Happy ever after" in that you'll have to break it to make a new story and this just didn't click with me.

it's absolutely worth a pick up if it's on sale and if you enjoyed the first one but 8 hours and it's finished. Without the nostalgia kick, this would be considered lackluster and a too clunky to be enjoyable.

I'll give it a recommendation based on the above

I love Stellaris, but this expansion appears to once again break the game and i'm pretty much now done with defending it.
I've got AI in a federation going to a neighbouring enemy system via the other 998 stars in the galaxy while parking random single ships at the far end of my empire that borders NOTHING.
Between us we could have crushed the enemy, instead I end facing 3 on 1 and ended up thinking sod it, let them take his planets and I'll just sit here. The AI has got worse not better.

The origins are a good idea, i've not got far enough to try the new ship types since I can't put up with the stupidity.
Performance wise it seems OK when i fired up an old large save but it's not conclusive.

Overall I'm Disappointed. Capital D Disappointed

I'm not entirely sure what all the hype is about. The Controls are dire, combat is an absolute joke and not even a star wars licence is making this enjoyable. I mean, i tried a couple of times but it's just not fun at all. I'm hoping for a refund otherwise this is a massive waste of 40 quid. I'm sure i'm the outlier here but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was it boring.

Prepare to lose hours of your life if you buy this. It is better with friends and the learning curve can be a little steep but Factorio breaks the bad streak i've experienced with early access.
If you love tinkering, and tinkering some more and then forgetting what you were doing in the first place, factorio is the game for you.

This Game is not friendly, but that is part of it's charm. There is no hand holding or linear GO HERE prompts and I guarantee the Save button will be your friend!

Recommended but much more fun in Coop!
