Well, where do i start? Remnant: From the Ashes is an interesting new game, i found out about the game 1-2 weeks before it came out, and i instantly loved it, when i saw the trailers. The combination of shooter gameplay and the fact, that there are some similarities to Dark Souls is probably the reason i like it so much.

And now lets get into the details:

Graphics:
Remant is an absolutly beautiful game, the graphic-style is a mixture of realistic and comic textures, and it fits the game pretty well. It's also time consuming, i for example was standing in areas where i just turned of the hud and made screenshots for hours, just because there were so many good opportunities.
The only flaw, that i saw is that the game starts to lag at some points, even if you have a 1080, but that can happen if you always play on Ultra, and for me it wasnt that big of a problem, since it was really rare.

Gameplay:
The gunplay of this game is pretty interesting, since you have guns, you would expect sniping and exploits were you wouldnt even get to really fighting against your enemies. But no, there are 4 types of range.


So you need to check, for what range your gun is made for, but most of the weapons are effective up to 15-20 meter so mid-range is the thing to go. There are also many mods you can acquire for your weapon, which will either change your bullets for a limited amount of time (e. g. flamethrower, grenade launcher) and the appearence. Now to the away from the gunplay.

The gameplay of this game, is slow in some areas and pretty fast in the next one, since enemies can surround you or simply bomb you with grenades, beams, shots or many other things you really don't wanna experience + you can't really look forward what the enemies are doing (e. g. one of the bosses i got, was linear in the first three tries and on the fourth one, he suddenly was just floating above me, to kill me).
And if you reset your world, to get a new world seed, the enemies are random again, so you dont know their pattern or anything, beside that there are enemies existing.

And you'll get progress, even if you arent that good in the game, because at the start of every dungeon, directly in the front, after the boss, there are checkpoints everywhere, which in my opinion is killing the challenge a bit.

Content:
The game, has content, but probably not as much as you would expect, but the game is out since for 4 days now (pre-order), and it already was said, that there would be more, so im not that pessimistic about it.
And even if, its not "that much" you'll still have around 12 sets of armor, over 25 bosses (which i didnt even encountered yet, and i played the game 3 times through now), and many many secrets.

Before you buy, consider:

1. It's not as Dark Souls as you thing.
   
2. The best way to play it, is with friends.
   
3. It can get repeating, since the areas are random generated.

But in my opinion, it's the best game of 2019 at the moment!

Has potential, needs time.
Get it if you want.

Played it when i was a kid, and i was flashed, played it now, got instant nostalgic flashbacks.
One of the best games in history.

If you are bad in this game, buy Maestro (= His/her ult does 70%-100% damage)

Das Spielprinzip an sich ist gut, das Combat-System war zur Release-Zeit auch erfrischend.

Zu Anfangszeiten hätte ich das Spiel sogar empfohlen, da die Skill-Level der verschiedenen Spieler noch ungefähr auf dem gleichen Level waren, und ist man als Spieler lange genug dran geblieben, was kurze Zeit unmöglich war, da einfach keine Matches durch Mangel an Spielern zusammengekommen sind.

Inzwischen wäre man als Neu- bzw. Wiedereinsteiger absolut verloren, da es auch kein wirklich faires Matchmaking gibt, bzw. dieses absolut nicht funktioniert.

Und die unzähligen neuen Charakter die man entweder nur durch ewiges Grinden oder DLC-Käufen freischalten kann, sind einfach viel zu unbalanced.

EInfach nur noch eine Geldkuh, wird immer weiter gemolken.
30 € für ein bis heute immernoch nicht fertiges Spiel, Skins für 25€ verkaufen und "Premium" Pässe für weitere 10€.

Aber irgendwann kann man eine tote Kuh nicht mehr melken.

Als bessere Alternative empfehle ich Ring of Elysium.
