I'm quite enjoying this game and the meta progression and ideas.
NOTE! The game will reset at certain points with no warning and no way of going back and you will lose current progress (but next time will go faster), a common meta progression in roguelike type games. Just as a headsup, because some people get really attached to their build and hate this. I'm fine with it, but some may not be, consider that before purchasing.

Refunding because of lack of windowed mode that's been asked about for at least 5 years, I don't see any way to choose resolution options or anything. It's all buggy display on my extra wide screen. The lack of text UI really throws me off too. It's too bad, I quite enjoy a good tower defense.

One of THE BEST GAMES ever made. I played the original retail box when it came out in 1992. At the time I thought it had some of the best music ever. I played match after match of melee mode with family.

Then I played the urquan masters release when it came out 2002 or so. And they went and found the original composers to do remixes of the music and I loved the remixes too.

I've put a lot of hours into the game in the times I've played it. If you can deal with the lack of mouse control, I highly suggest giving this game a go

I've beat the game with full achievements, and my thoughts haven't changed. I've been enjoying this game, while it's similar to Dome Keeper (a complaint I see in other reviews), I actually like it better prior to beating it. It always feels like I'm making progress in this game even if I die quick or long, and there's even a bit of a story. I like the whole mining genre, and finding technologies and surprises. All the minor bugs that I came across in the initial release have been all fixed.
There is sadly no real end game content after you beat it (aside from finishing off achievements), and I'd have preferred to see more story around the end. It's a shorter game, but also priced appropriately.

If you reach a point at which it seems you can't progress, just keep doing exploring runs, you will find things that open up stuff.

Note that there's not really any "prestige" type content for post game in Wall World like there is for Dome Keeper.

A fun little idler game, inexpensive. Lots of things to unlock, but it always feels like one is making progress. Also has some story to it

If you've ever wished Papers Please was a 3d game, this is it! Very well done execution, marred by a few bugs that the developers are actively patching. Enjoyable enough I'm in the middle of the 2nd campaign, this time on the rebel side.

This is a great game, made even better if you like the comic book characters.
It's great how each character is fleshed out exactly as one would expect. You have to treat each person individually to grow a friendship, and I learned things about each character I didn't know before.

Note: Do NOT go into this expecting xcom or a pure combat simulator. It's more of a PG rated "dating sim visual novel" type game in the marvel universe with some fun combat deck building card battler arena fights. It's got a good story, but one can skip that with right mouse button or escape if someone just wants the battle parts.

Also, the devs expect the first playthrough to be around 40ish hours and NOT try to max friendships etc or achieve everything that first run though, but instead do things like that in NG+. So be prepared for a much longer game with fatigue if one tries to max everything in first go around. Also deadpool first DLC will probably be out by the time you read this, which should include extra missions and bad guys and upgrades etc.

Possibly the best roguelite card battlers out there. A big part of it is the length, it doesn't overstay its welcome. After every single battle you get significant upgrades satisfying that too. There's a reason why it has 96% overwhelmingly positive ratings.
I only wish there was more than just 1 DLC.

I'm getting back into it after a while not playing, trying to unlock covenant ranks, level 10 everything unlock, etc. I'm getting further than I ever have before.

Love this expansion! At this point I've played it more than the original. The characters and cards to play are much more varied.

Ridiculously fun and addictive, and a must buy at $3. There's a reason 98% of reviews are positive for this.
