Overall can be a great game, cheaters need to go, and doesn't help that attack heli can hover over areas far enough up high that they're out of range of rockets being fired because 'out of range of lock' past 500 meters

5 hours in and I'm enjoying this game, it's just fun, and the combat reminds me of something like the Mario & Luigi DS rpgs. The aesthetic and commitment to character is great to see in the game. It's not going to be for everyone, but those who do enjoy it, will really love it completely.

Another bug no one has seemed to mention.

I had moved the game to a different monitor than my main (main is 2k, other monitor is 4k had it in borderless, game ran fine and went past the first cutscene.)

Restarted the game later, Small unity window would pop up with a pic of Agumon and a red X and a loading bar would fill up the first 1/4 - 1/2, vanish, then no game launch.

Fix was adjusting the resolution on 2nd monitor from 4k back to 2k, game launched fine after.

If you're into Modded Arma/DayZ style survival, this is the game for you. Yes it's Early Access, yes there are bugs, yes things get wiped on occasion, any game that's a work in process will be like that. If you're going into this game like it's a retail game in it's current condition, you're going to have a bad time.

To be honest, the 'mixed' review this has currently isn't warranted. A lot of these reviewers either have zero idea what an early access game is, or what you're supposed to do in it. You're effectively a tester. Game clearly has a splash page reading how things are a work in process, the game gets wiped ect. yet the discord is full of people saying "omg wtf are you doing I spent 1300 hours building my base, and now it's wiped?"

Anyways on to the review.
-Quite a large map 12x12km
-Really in depth systems in place and planned later (food/calorie/vitamin/mineral), (Water absorption in different pieces of gear based on materials)
-Ballistics and Archery are some of the most in depth in any game.
-Has the ability to be played offline/single player
-Pretty great visuals for early access sandbox survival
-Has a lot of innovative and fun ideas of where it's going.

Cons
- Some systems have to be revamped, and more still have to be added. At this time still far from a 1.0, but it's quite playable in it's current state.
- Base building feels more like a basic extra throw in at it's current status. It works, but it's not that in depth currently.

It may be a RPGMaker game, but the quality is there that doesn't give that feel at all. If I had to give comparisons, the story gave me feels of Lufia 2, the combat gave me feels of Suikoden 1/2. Lots of nice customization with the crafting and skills. Very fun game that scratched the jRPG itch.

No idea why the hate from the reviews so far. gtx950 2gb vram, I have the textures on the step below ultra, where i'm almost a full 1gb past my vram and I'm still getting 40-50fps, against pve only, I'm fine with anything solid over 30.

Everything has been clean, no physics problems, ect.
