So, something about Metro Exodus.

I rarely write reviews. It just usually goes like buy game, install, play, maybe finish if it is good and that's it. I own the other two games too, 2033 and last light but never played them much. I only have like maybe few hours on them both. Now i am ashamed that i did not give them a proper chance because that would have given me a lot more backstory to work with in Exodus. But still, every single character was so well made that i grew to like every one of them. They were so well made and had their own personalities. Sure there were some minor bugs here and there but nothing major. Had a little laugh with most of them and moved on.

I'm not good with horror games. Not at all. I was a bit worried that i would not want to play this game if it was only jump scare after jump scare in dark metro tunnels but oh boy was i wrong. Sure, there are some situations which will get your heart rate rising but somehow they were actually enjoyable situations it this game. Exploration is very rewarding which is an important point in an open world game. I like to stroll around looking in every little shack and open house what i can and to be able to find better upgrades for weapons etc in there is very good game mechanic.

If i had to come up with pros and cons, here are some:

Pros
-Big open world, which is not limited to just only one
-Weapon customization and sounds
-Characters and voice acting
-Graphics. Shame i was not able to run it on extreme settings.
-Variety of enemies
-I would be sitting here the whole evening coming up with pros so lets move to cons if anyone is even still reading

Cons
-Random crashing when the game is paused or loading. Might be just my PC or messed up files.
-Character feels like it is sometimes gliding randomly
-Sometimes i felt like the weapons got dirty instantly and started to jam but might be just me playing for 30 minutes which felt like 5 minutes

I would highly recommend this game if you like first person shooters with a very good story line, looting, stealth and an open world filled with interesting places and npcs.

And i played the Enhanced edition so i needed to download the original version and leave it running for a bit to post a review. Not very convenient.

Definitely worth a try. Played it through on normal difficulty and that was quite challenging and fun experience. I liked how there are many types of enemies so it does not just repeat itself instantly and the gameplay experience changes a lot depending which enemy you are facing.
