Is the "Adaptability" stat one of the worst ideas Fromsoft has ever come up with? Yes.
Are there a lot of enemies that tend to get you ganked? Yes.
Are there broken hitboxes? Debatably.

Despite all of these shortcomings, I am a firm believer that despite this being the weakest of the series, it is still one of the best games I have ever played. Fashion is the best of all three Dark Souls, Emerald Herald best girl, and some of the bosses are absolutely great.

I really recommend playing this, whether you try Scholar of the First Sin or this version is entirely up to you.

starting this game and throwing a Gundam soundtrack into the background makes this game have one of the best vibes

60 bucks is a lot to ask for, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so far this game has been proving that it was worth every penny

In my first game, groups of around 20 or so on both teams were fighting on the bridge, it took around 2 minutes for someone among all of us to scream "LEROYYYY" and charge in, and everyone else followed.

That's good enough of a reason to buy this.

The game is alright for a souls-like.
Characters are pretty decent.
The Cathedral of Sacred Blood makes me want to put my head in a blender.

If Steam had a "Mixed/Maybe" recommendation, I'd put that here.
Just buy the original.
Graphics are good, graphics at the cost of performance isn't ideal.

Don't listen to the review bombings, this game had a rough start in terms of its servers, sure, but if you look past that (and the fact that this is normal for a hyped day 1 release,) its quite enjoyable!
Just try out the demo and assess whether you want to spend 60 bucks.
