$18 for alien gameplay is kinda a steal. Not a huge fan of how mercs work, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

A lot of the critique (other than having no mutations) for the alien is, frankly, a skill issue. You have to remember that the game is not meant for the alien to win every engagement and that we are just there as flavor for the mercs. If you're just blindly running at teams of course you're going to die. The aliens are ambushers/trappers, not tanks.

Game was honestly kind of boring. Played 2 matches and didn't have a full lobby either time. Second match at least let us finish the puzzles, but it felt tedious doing 18 puzzles with 3 people. I couldn't figure out how you are supposed to get away from the monster either since there wasn't any obvious blockers/parkour on the maps I played, but that might be a skill issue.

Game is fun but runs horribly. Spend 20 minutes failing to load into a match just for everyone to be immune to damage and you randomly die due to horrible connection once you are in.
