2023 will go down in history as the year of FNAF

Game Context: Big giant head (person on VR headset) versus knight (person on Mouse and Keyboard). Knight has to use projectiles and close range combat to destroy all the giant's armor/health; while the giant has to use his hands to throw objects at the knight, can ground slam or throw knight out of map when he gets close, dodge/block projectiles, and shoot laser beam out of hand after blocking projectiles. Whoever loses all their health, loses. There can only be 1 giant and 1-4 knights (game is more fun when doing 1v1).

Review: Very fun, I've been waiting since 5/2020 for this game to come out, and it finally did. It's very knight sided on default rules, but you can change the rules manually. You also need a lot of space irl to play this game, you will break a window or two (jk... or am I...). The Valve Index controls are just borderline stupid, pause shouldn't be my thumb grip button, I keep accidentally pressing it, causing me to die. There also needs to be more cool-downs on certain moves like the roll, hammer, rocket spam, grapple, etc. Knight spawning with hammer is not a great idea. It's so easy for them to deflect thrown objects, and just spam grappling my head, hammer, grappling my head, hammer, so on and so forth, it's such an op meta. During the alpha, hammer was obtainable as an item to pick up, which was fine. Again, I know that most of these settings can be changed in the rules, I'm just saying that the default rules are just way to competitive, especially for the giant. This should be a more casual party game to play with family and friends. Grabbing knights is also really hard, your hand would have to be completely still to do it, or else the game registers it as a hit that isn't powerful enough to damage them. Game is very optimized though, so you can probably play with anyone who has a low-end pc. I'm also glad that there is a much more developed tutorial now, but still, changing binds should be a feature to best suit the players needs and play-style. I know I'm saying a lot of negatives about the game, but I still really love this game. It's my #1 favorite VR game now, and I'm really glad that they made knight pass free. It just need some balance changes, that's all. Just for a more casual, fun, family-friendly experience.

Rating: 8/10

TLDR: Best Asynchronous VR game ever!! Game is very knight sided, but rules can be changed, so it doesn't matter; Valve Index binds could be remapped better, give us custom bind changes; Very competitive game, not for casual players; VR players might break something irl with controllers if your room is not as big as a sound stage.

Officially higher the max player limit cap, add workshop support, and cross-play.

I miss 1.0 version of this game, please bring it back. I just want there to at least be a server for us to play a certain update of the game.

Who else has been waiting 9 years for Dead Island 2, and will wait another year for it to come on steam?

Add index support. I want to be able to turn the steering wheel an use the pedals with the index controllers, it currently doesn't work right now officially.

The news in-game recently said that the crashes have been fixed in the new drivers update, but it didn't fix it. I really hope it gets fixed so I do't have to keep rolling back to 522.25 just to play this.

GREAT SOUNDTRACK!!!!! but short game :/

There could've been more levels in between unlocking new characters. It just seemed like every level was a new thing where I wasn't able to use the character or mechanic in the previous level. It wasn't until the last level when I was able to do that.

I paid $50 for this 5-6 hour game, and they dropped the regular price to $40? Are you kidding me?!?!?!?
