The Longest Journey sits just above the original Broken Sword game as my favourite point-and-click adventure game. Its story, worlds and protagonist April Ryan's gradual character arc have stood the test of time nearly 20 years after release, even if the graphics haven't.
I can't recommend this game enough if you enjoy this genre.
