For full Disclosure Perspektik Games reached out to me on twitter and provided me a key to stream this game.

This game is mostly advertised as an atmospheric horror game and to that end you can see the work put into achieving this. The outside areas are well crafted and the lighting and sound design in them have clearly taken full advantage of the engine they were built with. The sound design as well is fairly strong and well done. A strange use of many jump scares that go nowhere and are shoe horned in, in super cliche or almost comedic timings kind of derails and ruins a lot of the built up atmosphere however.

Unfortunately atmosphere also doesn't carry a game entirely and the game play and story do take a bit of a back seat. The plot really doesn't make much sense or have much depth. As I played through I kept thinking, so is it this trope? No it's this trope? No it's this trope? And there wasn't really any structure it was just a string of "horror things" that didn't lead anywhere. The game play essentially being a walking simulator doesn't help this in any way. There weren't really any puzzles it was sort of the Bloober style walk somewhere look at thing hear thing go listen to that thing. The only puzzle was at the end and I didn't find one of the clues and another clue you only see briefly and if you accidentally or intentionally click through too fast I couldn't find a way to see it again to use it. So I brute forced the ending. Also apparently there was a run function? I never was able to figure this out I just saw it in other reviews afterways.

I will say that I noticed options for various types of colour blindness which was super awesome to see though so kudos for that.

All in all for an indie developed game I think it's actually okay and decent. But I don't think it's 9$ decent. I beat the game in basically under an hour without trying to move to fast and with accidentally missing a clue and having to brute force a puzzle instead of just completing it easily.

If this game was listed at 5$ I'd maybe recommend it but as it is I unfortunately can't advise people to spend their money on this when there are tons of fantastic indie games for similar prices with far more game play and deeper story and experiences for their buck.
