TLDR - If you like management / police style games this is well worth picking up.

This game will go down well with people who like games such as the Emergency series, Police Simulator games and the like.

You manage patrol routes, respond to crimes and have various units which are better suited to different events. Such as you can send patrol units to investigate a crime scene, but the success rate will be much lower than if you sent CSI.

Over time your officers gain experience and you can add points to specific traits. Which can determine which role they play within your force - such as patrol officers, detectives, riot response and so forth.
Which of course adds variation and challenge. Such as if you have an armed robbery do you send your two detectives that have just wrapped up a job as backup or do you divert another better suited patrol car that is needed elsewhere? Or maybe that officer on the motorbike over the other side of town can quickly respond and tip the balance in your favour?
And was dispatching a SWAT unit to someone spraying a wall really the best use of your resources?

Sure a few edges may be rough but I'm sure as with any new game they will be ironed out. Well worth the money in my opinion.
