Literally just Rock Paper Scissors, but with a gun and a tank and a helicopter, and the scissors can beat the helicopter only when its proppellers are on the ground 45 degrees to the right. And a lot more intricacies.

On a serious note I played the series back when I was a child brainlessly. I was really glad to see a childhood game evolve into such a form.

If you hate playing team based games then you'll have nothing else to hate but yourself after not blocking a slow low move for the 10th time. This game will reward you for your hard work. It lacks in content but literally only playing ranked battle is enough for this game to be good. There's a million and half characters in this game with each one being unique enough to get there own anime and a bible worth of move lists, so you cant really "master" this game. There's always something to learn and with that, always something to be mad at. With all that being said, buy it when its on sale and buy the dlc with it, the DLC characters, released and not released, are really cool.

Definitely one of the more interesting story driven games. Thou a bit slow at the beginning it will do a great job holding your attention at the climax of each episode onward. The decisions that you make and the amount exploring that you do influences the outcomes of your actions make the game replayable to degree but I wouldn't count it. Great "game"
