Great RPG, Your choices are varied and have a real influence on events in the game. Tactician mode AI is brutal and will focus down your squishy mage buddy.

Feels just like the old Battlefields!

This is a great RPG. Your character’s skills and decision matter and have affects on the world/story. It is really nice that they were able to voice all the NPC dialogue lines, adds to the immersion. The combat is also a lot of fun with interesting gameplay. Its not quite as deep as Xcoms tactical combat but it has the benefit of the whole massive RPG to lean on. I hope this will get an expansion in a different weather climate as the game has been all winter for me so far. Two thumbs up!

Mount and Blade is my absolute favorite game series. It may not have the depth of story like the Witcher series, but it more than makes up for that in the freedom that it offers. You can be a charismatic ruler, a wise merchant, a brutish bandit, or anything in-between. You are unleashed upon this medieval world with countless opportunities to pursue. This game takes the brilliance of Warband and adds further depth, such as new systems for politics, families, and economy. The excellent combat iconic to the Mount and Blade series of course remains, with updated animations and further control over your troops. Another amazing aspect to this series is the mod support, which allows Its absolutely a fantastic game that I have been waiting 10 years to get my hands on. Long live TaleWorlds! People are still playing Warband, after 10 years, they clearly know what they are doing.

This game gives you a lot of options when tackling missions, through dialog and alternate routes using skills. The world is really interesting and I am excited to learn more about the natives and the political intrigue within the colonial powers. Combat takes bit of getting used to but functions well. If you are a big RPG fan then I would definitely give it a shot. Don’t expect AAA animations or graphics through, the lip movements in particular are a little distracting.

Classic style JRPG. The story isn't ground breaking, but still entertaining. Turn-based combat is fun, which is good because you'll be grind levels quite a bit.

They finally added meaningful diplomacy. Hopefully they will added back in the unit banner of the pre-Attila games.

A very good Medieval fighting game. Combat is very satisfying and visceral.
I hope there will be a jousting or all cavalry combat mode.

Takes many things from other Paradox Strategy games and combines them together well. You can’t expect it to be as feature complete as CK2 or EUIV at this point as those games have had years of DLC and free patches. The UI definitely needs work on its usability however. For example, when you look at two countries at war in their diplomacy screen it says a negative war score but not who has that score, so you don’t know who is winning that war.

This game is a lot of fun when you get into it. It can be a bit janky at times, but if you are a fan of Gothic or Risen, you’ll be right at home. Don’t worry too much about dying early on, death is only the beginning of this adventure.
