It was a simple enough task to infiltrate in over the wall and past any functioning turrets, being augmented in my robot suit. I found that the base was still "active" with the whole factions protections thing going on. The protected area was almost exclusively over this shack, which was blocked off with a door, and a trapdoor inside that I could spy through the holes in the door's textures. It all definitely had my interest, as this my first base that had no active members there online, and hadn't already been raided to ♥♥♥♥.
The plan was to set up a small temp area just with chests, right outside the protections area of the base I had found, so that any loot we gathered could be quickly moved. The loot would be from me strategically shooting up the shack to peel away its walls and flooring, exploring for loot chests. And boy, did the plan work. Quiet a few loot chests were found - but we quickly realized we ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. There was an ungodly amount of items that would've taken forever to craft - unless one had admin help. This was the base of at least a mod-ranked player.
So we decided to do pull a two-birds, one-stone scenario. We were despreately curious about some of the explosives the server had with the mods, and we now had a testing site. We used various types of massively destructive bombs on the site of that base we had raided, and in doing so completely covered up the fact that anything was actually looted. Just looks like the place was found and used as target practice... which it was, ultimately.
And at the end of the day, we got away with having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of admin loot :D
