Good value. Puzzlesolving with a little bit of creativity and a whole lot of murder - but in a good way.

Still getting updates as well.

Absolutely worth it! 9.95/10

Best time so far with a buddy of mine.
We do what we want and it all somehow works out - we did occasionally loose a few body parts though.
It is increadible how many consequences there are for even a small side quest. It took us 45h to just beat the first Act of the game and we haven't even seen it all. Simply overwhelmingly good.

Graphics:
[9.7/10]
Top Notch for Top down gameplay
Gameplay:
[9.5/10]
Engaging, tatical, fun, and can be played at any pace you want (all ages can play it). Only a couple of hic-ups and minor bugs.
Narrative:
[10/10]
Solid Foundation, you decide the outcome (Its your Story from the moment the Tutorial is over)
Fun-meter:
[11/10]
Kept us 50h entertained and still makes us excited to continue the journey.
Bugs:
absolutely minor. A couple in total ranging from getting stuck in the environment, wanky path finding or the camera spazzing out.

I can only recommend it!

First of all, I played the entire game in Survival mode - so some aspects may not apply to you.

The games story:
Slow and tiring beginning, very good middle, and the end was just dragged out in a way that doesent flow with the story. For most parts the game behaves realisticly: actions have consequences and the logic can be followed. Yet, the further you get into the game, especially the end mission, logic is thrown out of the window and the typical "this is a game" logic is activated allowing the protagonist to do whatever he wants without real difficulties.
So ... its good, but end is kinda weired.

Graphics:
very good. For me it was an essential piece of the game that held me close enough (to sort of sink into the game) and continue/finish it.

Gameplay:
The overall gameplay is very smooth and feels polished. The Bike physics are well done and it is an enjoyment to ride.
The AI is difficult or frustrating, depends.
During stealth, the enemy sometimes turns around just before you snug up to them and imediatly starts firing at you. Most games have AI that help you, make it easier to play, but this game is outright against you. Some enemies also doge your bullets, which makes no real sense in the game logic or is explained, making it very frustrating playing the game with a controller.
I had tested the AI of different types a couple of times to see how they work. The humans are what you expect, the only difference is that once you have been spotted you have about a second to shoot them before they shout to engage. The normal zombies are ok. But the bigger groups of zombies are somehow able to magicly know your location when you throw something to literally distract them. They also ruberband to you, making sprinting sort of usesless unless you sprint for longer times (which you cannot due to your stamina being drained almost immediatly). Some Mechanics are simply not explained and some items do not even have descriptions on how to use them or what they do.

Gunplay stops working up close: he will shoot the ground instead of the guy infront. Sometimes the guns miss even on normal distances.

Some glithes killed me, got me stuck or crashed my game - didnt happen often though.

All in All: Very good port on the technical side, a few crashes here and there and some minor bugs but it can be played. Some frustrating Gameplay during combat with zombies but eventually I just accepted it. its good but not great for 50€.

Early Access Review
I can only recommend this game. It combines space survival with a touch of space engenieer construction and combines these with classical, yet somewaht wired, humour.

The game takes you on an adventure to save your life. On this quest, the game surprises you with features, story twists and with the question to why you are still following the command of a robo-suit who constantly reminds you that the chances of your survival is as high as ... nothing. Again, I can only recommend this game.

Linear Story-line survival with exploration and building aspects.

It is ok now (6/10). 40€ is alright, but for everyone who bought it for 60€ it kinda sucks.

Grow Up, is an expanded version of its prequal Grow Home. Both games play almost the same with the difference of better equipment and abilities in this game (Grow Up). Grow Up is certainly an amazing game, with its planetary openworld and no failling conditions it manages to deliver a calm atmosphere where you can play at your own pace. However, when you put the game against its prequal it is difficult to say what game Grow Up is supposed to be. If you played the prequal (Grow Home) Grow Up will not be as exciting as most of the intital magic of what makes BUD and his story appealing is already gone.

They tried to make Grow Up more interesting with new abilities (like the ball-mode) but tbh I never used the new abilities that much. Grow Home never abandoned its main feature: Climbing. No matter how high and upgraded you got you always had to climb again at some point. Unfortunately, in Grow Up, climbing becomes optional once you get an upgarde to an ability about halfway into the game, which was a shame as it took all challange out (you could literally just go up infinitely). I even tried to force myself not to use that ability to enjoy the game more.

Overall, the game is still great but does not deliver the same magic as Grow Home.

Grow Home is outright beatiful. The graphic is fitting; the gameplay is chilling (with a taste of challange) and the atmosphere is calming. I would say that the game is most probably for casual to medium gamers, but can definitely be played by hardcore gamers if they are looking for a new and relaxing experience.

In Grow Home you control BUD, an Android who has unfortunately crashed onto an unexplored utopian planet. And now it is up to you to help him get back Home. The game does not explain too much and only leaves you with a huge plant, only through exploring and try and error will you be able to move on. This is also exactly where the game shines: Exploring. There is no Timer, no failling condition, nothing alike. The game simply wants you to spend time exploring, maybe finding interesting places or upgrading your gear with one of these glowng crystals.

Another important point is that the game is an "Experience". What do I mean by that? - well I call games an Experience when they achieve to deliver something that has not been done before or done at this scale. It is new and exciting. It is simply different. I would go so far to say that most of Grow Homes success comes from this "Newish-Experience". The game is wonderfull to play for the first time (and blind), but if you try to play it again, most of the magic is gone. So put all of your energy in your first playthrough to get the most out of it.
