I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite Legendary Edition game on Steam.

This game is awesome in my opinion.

The music in this game is fantastic and some levels I've played on repeat consistently just because of how great it feels to get the vocals going once you hit that max multiplier and keep it up.

The gun play is about what you'd expect for a slaughter everything in sight in hell type of game, but with an added touch. The rhythm part adds to making the gun play even more fun and adds a bit of simple to learn yet hard to master vibes to it. Plus when you quick reload at certain parts with weapons it just adds a slightly magical touch to the sound of the music and carnage.

The story is obviously not the focus point of the game and that's completely fine considering how fun it is to just mindlessly kill things.

For me I give this a solid 9/10. They succeeded amazingly well with what they wanted to with this game. Story isn't the main point of replayability it is the amazing metal music and gunplay. I'd say the $29.99 value is well worth what the artists and developers put into this amazing project.
