Introduction:

I think that Malice is a well attempt at horror puzzle game. The graphic, sound and
visual are especially well done. Able to deliver the horror very well for a co-op
experience. Improvements can be made to narrative, story line as well as quality of
puzzles.

Gameplay mechanics:

Gameplay mechanics are pretty well done. However there were bugs that affects the
controls, notably not being able to turn after a certain degree. Improvements can
definitely be made to icons when interacting with certain objects, like different icon
for different action. (ie text/icon to give something to someone, and different icon
for placing something).

level of challenge and difficulty:

Early part of the game's puzzle were definitely hard compared to the later half. While
puzzle game is suppose to be hard, I feel that some of the puzzle's definitely should
be given more context/hint as it almost feels like its something only people who made
it can solve. While yes there were definite clues but as casual gamer, it gave off that
vibe. And also some puzzles are way too tedious which can make players feel unmotivated to solve them.

Story and narrative:

The story were quite difficult to understand and follow. It would definitely benefit from
a short summary at many parts of the game (ie "You are now stuck in this room because..")
almost like quest logs in some games that player can open up. Another improvement would
be the length of the game/story.

What made the game stand out:

I think the graphic, sound and visuals definitely met my expectation of a horror puzzle
game. I am personally quite impressed with the sound as it kept me shacking most of the
games. the visuals definitely fit the atmosphere of the story and done very well.

Conclusion:

Overall, I think Malice is a great coop horror game experience. All thanks to its well
done graphics and sound. I believe that with a improvements to story, narration of story
and quality/consistency of puzzles, Malice could be a staple to this niche genre. If there
were an expansion or dlc, definitely would give a try again.

Great game but trailer may be misleading to some player because in trailer it feels a little like story mode game but in reality this is more like a survival sandbox and there is only one thing i hate, this is meant to be played with tribe of people
