Dead and Deader when I play it

Started playing on the 12th Nov, blew up even more a week later. Just check steam charts for the game, youtube, tiktok or other sites with games content and you'll see how popular it is. Just don't spoil too much! I started playing a week ago and it's already one of my favourite gaming experiences.

I recommend going in blind, with little prior knowledge. I enjoyed my time stumbling in the darkness and figuring out how the world and its creatures work. The only difficult thing in the beginning is using the terminal, but everything is quite straightforward. After that it's simple, wacky fun with your friends or strangers.

I played with my friends which was a blast, the proximity voicechat works really well, just remember to mute on discord. The sound design is phenomenal and the lighting gives a feeling of safety, whereas the lack of light produces fear. The walkie-talkies going static and you suddenly being all alone is such a rush. You'll either make it out alive with a feeling of satisfaction or die and then most likely laugh together with your friends a lot. It might feel unfair at times, but you never lose too much and you always have the choice to restart.

The game has enough content to be a very fun and enjoyable experience already, and I believe the developer will keep updating it further. At its cheap price it's definitely worth it right now.

Highly recommended, THE benchmark for games of its age.
Does a lot really well, including story, environment and graphics as well as music.
Gameplay is the best it has been for the franchise, feels very smooth and responsive, though if you have to find any negatives this might be it.

More akin to an interactive movie, the gameplay isn't the selling point :)

One of my favourite games, mainly due to TTT gamemode.
Find a gamemode you like, a server you like (which may be difficult at times) and have fun!
Best enjoyed in a group (online community is mostly friendly, at least moderated ones).

One of the best strategy games made so far. Building a nation feels very satisfying though may be slow-paced for new-comers to the genre.
Mainly been playing multiplayer with friends, personally I would avoid public lobbies due to quitters, however, there are groups for finding players that will finish games.
