Its sad that no one plays this anymore, but if i ever have a group of friends to run this with I would get back into it.

A beautiful glorious game that has infinate replayability. My only downside is that the community can be toxic and can use an influx of good nice players. Also not many people play this anymore either sadly, although the update seemed to bring quite a few people back.

Honestly kind of a dissapointment and that makes me extremly sad. I grew up on the original games mainly Doom, and Quake as a kid with the first every game I played Being Quake 3 Arena. So these games I hold very dear to my heart and I still go back and play through them today. So when I heard that they were going to release a new Doom game I did what most other Doom and Quake fans did and immeadiatly cream their jeans in shear excitement. So naturally I pre-order the game and await its arival like a child and christmas.

However, when I got the game it was not was I was hopeing or expecting. The old Dooms and Quakes had level structure it had exploration you actually had to go through the levels like a real game and find the key to unlock new places in the map to get to the end, fairly stantard game right? Well this new Doom is just an arena shooter. You go to an area, kill everyone, go to area, kill everyone, go to area, kill everyone repeated non stop and thats the whole game. Sure there are some boss fights and thats extremly satisfying and nice, but again 90% of the game is just running into an area getting locked in and having to kill everything just to have it happen all again.
