I was only 9 years old. I loved settlements so much, I was saving them all day. Every night I pray to settlers, "Settlements are love" I say "Settlements are life". Elder Maxson hears me and calls saving settlements a waste of time. I call him a synth. He expells me from the Brotherhood of Steel. I'm crying now and I feel how my Pip Boy tells me all the quests I failed. I feel someone touch me, it's Preston Garvey! He whispers to my ear, "Another settlement needs your help". He grabs my Pip Boy with his powerful minuteman arms and starts marking settlements on my map. It hurts, but I do it for settlements. Elder Maxson walks into my room and looks at Preston. "At least it's not raining" says Preston and flies out of my window. "Settlements are love, Settlements are life"
