This game is great. For a game about clicking a cookie, it has no right to be this good with writing.

Great art style, and great game play.

This game looks great, plays better, and runs great on Proton. It is a huge step up from the somewhat arguable launch of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. I have still ran into some bugs, but none of them are particularly game-breaking, and honestly some of them could be caused by the fact that I am using Proton to play the game on Linux.
The story and gameplay is amazing. It's crazy to think that Five Nights at Freddy's has evolved from a series of point & click horror games, to a full on close to AAA free roam game. I do enjoy how small certain areas are. It reminds me of the small offices of the original games. I still have not beaten the game yet, but so far, I am loving what Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool have cooked up here.

This game is very fun as long as you don't crash it.

This is an amazing game, however I do have some complaints about it, and none of them can/will be fixed, since all of the assets in this game are pre-rendered 2D images.
Firstly, this game runs in 4:3, and the original runs in 16:9. If you run this game on a 16:9 monitor, it is stretched, with no option to play in 4:3, unless you change your monitor resolution. This is a problem starting with this game, all the way to FNAF 4. It is fixed in Sister Location.
Another complaint I have is that this game kind of feels like it was rushed. There are many re-used assets from the original game, and the underlying code feels to be practically the same.
This is truly an amazing game, though. I love the difficulty of this compared to the original. Ultimately, I would give this game an 8/10.

Absolutely would recommend this game. The mechanics, once you get used to them, are quite simple. The only complaint that I would have about this game is that if you easily get motion sickness, I unfortunately just cannot recommend it. If you shoot an entry portal into the floor and an exit portal into the wall, the entire screen flips with an admittedly pretty slow animation that, even if you don't get motion sickness, will easily disorient you. It is really a shame, since this game is an absolute masterpiece.

This game is just good. It has decently simple mechanics. It isn't pay to win, it isn't incredibly confusing, it is just fair.
