What a perfect combination of difficulty and chill.

A great, merciless strategy game. Good for people who don't mind being horrifically slaughtered the first half dozen times they play the game. And honestly, also the next several dozen times. Prepare to die a lot.

Wonderful game with way too much lore. While I found the ending disappointing, the rest of the game more than made up for it.

A spectacular turn-based strategy game. I've been a pen and paper role-player for most of my life, and Wildermyth comes closer to that experience than any other game I've played.

When I first got this game for free, I expected to play it for 15 minutes and then uninstall it and forget it ever existed. It's been over 42 hours- I'm still playing.

If you wanted to demonstrate what the term "meh." meant to someone, then this would be the game to have them play. From the graphics, to the story, to the gameplay itself, everything about this game screams mediocrity. It is neither good, nor bad, it simply is.

It's a great horrifying addiction simulator and it's literally cheaper than crack. How can you go wrong? Tell those waves of minions to vai a fanculo in style and buy this game now.

Game was good at one time but the addition of what are essentially micro-transactions really soured it for me. Also the dev is a knob who believes mask are bad because they stop you from picking up girls in grocery stores. If anything, the more of my face I cover, the higher the chance I have of finding love.

EDIT: While there are technically no actual micro-transactions in this game - every small update is sold as DLC so it essentially amounts to the same thing.

I used my knowledge from this game to defend myself in court and was found in contempt of court and guilty for my crimes. 10/10 would recommend.

This recommendation comes with a fairly large caveat: You get what you pay for. It's a fairly unpolished game made by a small team. The English translations are horrid, the graphics are janky, the ui could definitely be vastly improved. But underneath all of that is a decent game, especially for around $10.

So should you buy it? Yes, if you're old like me and miss the original Battlefield games. Yes, if you want something fun and cheap to play with friends. But no if you're looking for a polished AAA game. No, if you are easily bothered by bad translations and lacklustre voice acting.

TLDR: It costs $10 and plays like it. It costs $10 and plays like it costs $30.
