Deep Rock Galactic is a 1-4 player co-op FPS featuring badass space Dwarves, 100% destructible environments, procedurally-generated caves, and endless hordes of alien monsters.
1-4 PLAYER CO-OP
Work together as a team to dig, explore, and fight your way through a massive cave system filled with hordes of deadly enemies and valuable resources. You will need to rely on your teammates if you want to survive the most hostile cave systems in the galaxy!
4 UNIQUE CLASSES
Pick the right class for the job. Mow through enemies as the Gunner, scout ahead and light up the caves as the Scout, chew through solid rock as the Driller, or support the team with defensive structures and turrets as the Engineer.
FULLY DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS
Destroy everything around you to reach your goal. There is no set path so you can complete your mission your way. Drill straight down to your objective or build an intricate network of paths to explore your surroundings -- the choice is yours. But proceed with caution, you don’t want to stumble into an alien swarm unprepared!
PROCEDURALLY GENERATED CAVE NETWORK
Explore a network of procedurally generated cave systems filled with enemies to fight and riches to collect. There’s always something new to discover and no two playthroughs are alike.
HIGH-TECH GADGETS AND WEAPONS
Dwarves know what they need to bring to get the job done. This means the most powerful weapons and the most advanced gadgets around - flamethrowers, gatling guns, portable platform launchers, and much, much more.
LIGHT YOUR PATH
The underground caves are dark and full of terrors. You will need to bring your own lights if you want to illuminate these pitch-black caverns.

After waiting for over a year, with very minimal communication between the devs and the community. The release date constantly jumping to a further release date, and a lot of expectations to a well executed game being ruined...

Graphically the game delivers for the most part, but a very counter-intuitive gameplay, confusing ruins in the beginning with no directions as to what to do with them nor any interaction with said ruins. The premise of the game is awesome, sounds like a good story and a wide variety of things to add and do with the game in future, but when you actually get into the game the thoughts and expectations are basically crushed. I myself have been waiting for months on end for this to come out and actually playing it disappointed me hugely, to the point of a refund. To the voice acting, graphics and overall game is very amateurish as others have said.

-The voice acting is sub par in my opinion, for some reason the voice somewhat irritates me but that could just be me. It just doesn't seem to deliver to the actual experience or what type of game this is targeted as...
-Graphics are alright, like i said deliver for the most part, the model of the wolf i really like and the overall aura of the smooth textured, somewhat poly style they have gone for. This is very nit picky, but when entering the water the running sound doesn't seem to have much of a 'water' sound to it, only when jumping it will play a splashing sound and when leaving the water you can somewhat hear the different running sounds. You do encounter problems with the graphics(at max) You get appalling clipping of objects, interactions etc not to mention the 2D sprites which turn to a blur and the very detailed textures?
Gameplay wise I somewhat really don't like it, you wander across a few of these glowing orbs in caves and such yet no direction as to what they are used for or what they do? Only by me remembering there were similarly coloured things in the beginning (ruins) i was able to take them to the required place. You also cant 1. Carry multiple orbs 2. Drop the current orb to replace it with another orb?
-Controls were alright, camera had a somewhat of a smoothing to it, which in games i despise I'm pretty sure you can turn it off, but even then i didn't like how the camera worked) controlling the wolf was okay apart from trying to turn somewhat tight corners you'd end up losing all of your speed and having to wait for the wold to finally finish turning.

Coming to a conclusion, the idea and potential of this game is amazing on the other hand the execution is pathetic, especially with bare minimum communication with the devs and the release date continuously changing all adding up to major disappointment within this game. If it were to be done in a much superior way and actually make this game legible to be called completed, i think this would be stunning. The types of games within this category are phenomenal but this one honestly bites the dust.

this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. the bots are the most retarded things i have ever had to play with. The only innovative thing in this game is the devs have been able to find a way to make bots as stupid as a spud.
