Pros: A game to bring back couch-coop/4-player versus. The game boasts a wide variety of characters that each feel and play differently in multiplayer. In the single-player arcade mode, each character is given a unique set of challenges to surpass that are specifically catered to the character and would be unachievable otherwise. The characters and cute and yet ferocious and the gameplay, whether multiplayer or single-player feels unique. The challenges and time trials add more for those who are into speed running or achievement hunting (not myself unfortunately, but I still have fun giving it the old college try). I would definetely recommend this game if you have 2 or 3 (or even 1 really) other friend to play with.

Cons: In an age of internet multiplayer I, personally, find it hard to get 3 other people over to my house. With online multiplayer I think I would spend a little bit more time playing and I would have an easier time sharing with my friends that live all over the country. I also noticed the AI may not be so great at avoiding suicide. There is a level with a lazer and another with a pit and the AI seem to love to jump into them.

Even so, it feels challenging enough, even on normal for someone who is new, and the characters are varied enough that there is definitely enough there to justify the price. I received a review copy but there are certainly games I have gotten that I would most certainly not recommend. This is NOT one of those. I have had great fun with this game on my own and hope to have even more fun when I can get a group of friends together.
