God, what can I even say? This is my most played game to date and, even after almost 1k hours, I still don't know how to feel about it. It can be some of the most trash-garbage 15 minutes of gameplay you will ever encounter with the most entitled of survivors and the most toxic of killers; where everyone is sweating so hard you can literally smell the must off of the basement-dweller trickster currently camping you, or how that one group of swf bunny fengs with flashlights teabagging you at the exit gates make you want to put your hands into a toaster and eat them.

But then it's also some of the most rewarding and/or fun(ny) gameplay I have ever experienced in a video game. When you actually get your first flashlight save, or accidentally walk into someone hiding in a bush and down them, or play with your friends and also meet some really cool people because of the game; even encountering 1 of the 3 people that main billy is something to behold. (i'll pray for u guys <3)

This game has toxicity, campers, tunnelers, entitlement, snoot-booping, bouncing billy's, jerryl's, killers and survivors from space, treasure chest bubba's, bleandettes, survivors farming your ass for absolutely no reason, 4 dh-ds-unbreakable's, twin mains (i think?), lots of questionable game mechanic choices, even more questionable developers, and SO. MANY. FENG. COSMETICS. OH MY GOD PEOPLE PLS. NO MORE. (justice for Jeff!!)

But yeah, whatever your opinion about this game is, there will probably never be another game like Dead by Daylight.

Should you get it? Idk it's your money. Although I will say that the 8 piece combo at KFC is the same price so...😳...maybe just first consider your options before buying.

Anyways, remember to have fun, touch gr(ass) once in a while (it's healthy for the soul), still love yourself after losing 17 killer games in a row, and sign my formal petition to add guns to DbD. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

This game is in my top 10 games of all time, I don't know what to say. I know a lot of people like this game for its core mechanic, and I wholeheartedly agree. It's innovative, the palace is probably the most beautiful video game setting I have ever seen, and the gameplay was extremely fun, if a bit repetitive at times. But the reason why I mainly love this game so much has to do with the characters of En and London. I wish the game had more conversations between them because I was so interested in what they had to say, and the voice actors did an absolute stellar job. All in all, 9/10 experience. Wish the ending could have been a bit better considering all of the stress it took to get that deep into the palace.

Came looking to just blow some time on a random platformer, stayed for the nice story. 8/10 Solid 2-3 hours worth of gameplay.
