Totally not what I expected from this game, from the pictures I saw epic looking robots and was like "Oh my epic shooter boss fights!?" I failed to do the process I did with other games, which was:

Read the reviews, look at a gameplay, decide whether it's worth it- However I threw that down the drain as I got this game for around £2~

And for that price, totally worth it.

This game is more of a story, and a walking simulator type game- Normally those aren't my style but this was very engaging and reeled me in.

You wake up after being knocked out on a sandy mysterious planet, you must continue the story as more of it is revealed to you, there are a bunch of flashbacks that add more details to EARLIER parts of the game, as you progress through the game- this comic is updated alongside your completed quests giving you insight of the mysterious story.

If you are looking for cool boss fights and amazing sci-fi guns- This game is NOT for you.
If you are looking for a good story game- This game IS for you.

Enjoy!

This game is MADE to be played with friends, you can also play with randoms but unless you get people with a similar vibe to you- it's horrible (Play with friends only).

Solo it's just a horror game.

If you play games just to speed run, don't bother touching this game- it's endless, take your not touching grass ass somewhere else.

If you want to have laughs and fun, get this game!

You go into an 'abandoned' map, you walk around trying to find something that can be sold, you spawn with a hovering trolley that you can place items into.

Get enough items to sell them in the extraction point!

The 'TAB' button is REALLY helpful, don't underestimate it!

As in Lethal Company, at least ONE person has to be alive in the ship/truck to be able to extract carefully, UNLIKE Lethal Company- you shouldn't have anyone in the truck the entire game (Unless they're afk or just plain lazy).

The monsters are REALLY difficult to fight, until you get your hands on actual weapons the only way to deal with them would be to hide or blow them up, you can also use your surroundings to your advantage and if some monster is stunned, you can throw it into a pit or acid, for killing an enemy you get a pink ball worth a pretty penny. (p.s. these balls are REALLY brittle, don't ask how I know...)

As you successfully extract, (all the money you've collected is added to your team's bank account) you go into this 'shop' level where it's just an abandoned gas station, in it there's a bunch of stuff that has a chance of spawning from:
-Upgrades (Guaranteed)
Ranging from:
Strength, Tumble Distance, Double Jump, Health, Speed, Etc...

-Power Crystals (Guaranteed)
(P.s. once you buy power crystals they instantly appear inside your recharge bin when you extract from the gas station)
(P.s. P.S.- To recharge weapons, throw them in the bin that's glowing yellow on the right of the recyling bin, don't let it fool you! You will NOT lose anything!)

-Weapons (usually you'll get at LEAST a single stun grenade)
Explosives, Stun grenades, Guns, Melee weapons

-Addition carts (Not always there)
Mini pocket cart, normal cart

-Drones
Zero gravity drone, Feather drone, etc...

-I probably missed something...

There is also a secret panel in the gas station, it's in the ceiling- See if you can find it ;)
(Usually there's at least one item that spawns up there, not always 100%)

As you extract out of the gas station, all the items you bought will be displayed in front of you in the truck, you can apply them now until you get to the next level or you can wait until the next level, this time is for a breather before plunging back into hell.

If your weapons or drones run out of charge, do NOT leave them behind or destroy them, you can recharge them back in the ship as long as you have bought crystals! (I'm not sure how it works for melee weapons I've yet to use them-)

That's it! As you continue you can stack up your upgrades to become beefy, the game is the hardest during the beginning of the play through, it is ALWAYS easier after the first couple of levels, as long as you have actually been trying to pick the map clean of the items.

Have fun! Try not to piss your pants! Be sure to clip your funny moments for everyone to see!

Let me straight forward.

Is this game fun?
Hell yes.
Is it annoying?
Hell yes.

So what's wrong with it exactly?
This is not a game you will play back to back everyday.
It is one of those games that you download once a year and sink 60 hours in grinding before uninstalling and never touching it again.

From what I know, there has been no notice-able changes to the campaign.
The most recent one I think is a slight change to the workshops (Not 100% sure on that one but yeah).

Nothing in the campaign has seemed to change? It's the same game that it was a year ago-
And what is that? Well some people say it's a glorified 'warband'.

And in ways, I do see why they think so- It's basically a copy-paste of warband with better graphics and a campaign that is NOT POLISHED AT ALL FOR SOME REASON?

It is literally just "meh" and I know the game itself isn't really supposed to be a campaign game but more of a sandbox medieval game (Which it's really good at btw) but THEY COULD'VE AT LEAST PUT MORE EFFORT THAN THE ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM!

Sandbox is really fun and the only real thing I seriously recommend you try for yourself- much better than the campaign. Only minus is that you can't get achievements in it for some reason??? (Wtf?)

The game seems like they just remade warband on a new map with better graphics-
And in some ways?

This is amazing- I think it captures the freedom that warband gave us and does so very well!

However the problems that I had with warband, seem to be an issue here as well.

That being- The conversations and npcs.
They are pretty much ALL as bland as eachother!
The only thing that sets them apart is the faction they belong to and what stats they have.

This, I find most annoying as it would be absolutely amazing to actually have them NOT have the personality of a badger with a thorn up its' ass.

Another thing I dislike is that the quests are literally either
"Go find this and bring it to me"
"Go here and find this group of people"
"Go here and beat up the villagers for their money"
"Protect my caravan because I can't fking afford proper protection for it because I'M A CHEAPSKATE AND SUPPORT SLAVERY!"

You get the idea.

Not to mention- The bug that occasionally the game decided to crash whenever I enter the smithery? I have no idea what causes it- It says gpu issue or smth.
Like:
Yes, going from one place to another screen crashes because my gpu can't handle it; but running on top tier settings, fighting a 1000+ unit army inside a forest with dead body despawn off doesn't? Right.
(And yes I played around with the settings, same story no matter what. It's not a setting issue nor a gpu issue as there is no way in hell my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 crashes because of the Smithery.)

Another bug that I found is that randomly it MIGHT crash when I'm doing the caravan protection quest. This doesn't even give me an error it just crashes. So that's great!

In conclusion? It's a good game if you love Medieval games. This is an RPG sandbox that has a lot of freedom.

If you love medieval games and every thing oriented around medieval stuff like me, but cannot be asked with multiplayer games because... Let's be honest fighting someone who has spent countless hours learning the game is rarely fun to fight against.

Then you will love this game! £25 for a game that I have over 300+ hours in? Sounds like a good deal no?

(I'm not even going to write about the hell-hole that Multiplayer is in this game partly because I played it for like 3 hours in total and that was all filled with getting curb stomped and having oh so much fun.)

Amazing story game, if you're a person who only plays for graphics and couldn't care less about a story being told- this is not a game for you.

If however you love a good story telling game, this is absolutely perfect.
This is a choice-based story game meaning that whatever you do will impact the end of the episode (And possible future). It has so many options that to get an idea what each option does, you'd have to replay the story many times- as for gameplay length, I have around 7 hours on this game now and I'm only on Episode 3 going onto 4 now. I highly recommend this game for the experience that it provides you with.

Even me, being a sigma alpha male with a lvl 3 gyatt, my eyes teared at some parts of the story- there have not been many games that have done this but this game was one of them and I'm happy for that.

If you can get this game on offer it will be an absolute bargain, I ensure you'd rather buy this than another COD, trust me- I have no idea if any of the DLC seasons are any good as I have not even completed Season 1, but I'm sure they are not going to be horrible.

This game is the ultimate scary funny game with friends. It's a mix of 'lethal company' and backroom games. So if you enjoyed the goofy-ness and scary-ness of those games, you'll love this game. Much like other horror games, it's best with friends.

[SPOILERS] (Obviously)

One of the best remakes of half life 2 that I've played and/or seen. It is amazing- you play as a bad guy who has become one of the combine with his memories intact. You play along the game fighting new enemies from both half life games and black mesa with also a tiny bit of aperture science tied into it, There are new weapons (Which I actually adore on how well made they are) and the game is a good balance between exploring, humour and challenging fights!

If you are unsure whether you should give this game a go or not, as I did being used to the more low effort made fan remakes of half life, I assure you (Which isn't much coming from a stranger on the internet) To at least give this a go, The whole play through for me lasted roughly around 6 hours and for a free remake that is something no?

Give it a quick install and play, if you loved half life you'll love this! Everything about this game is top notch and in those 6 hours I have not encountered any issues/bugs!

I am remaking my review of this game after 268 hours on this game.

It is a good game if you ignore the bad sides of it, it has come a far way from where it was on launch.

If you do just play games for fun- This game will do just that, game play full of dopamine if you understand what each individual enemy does.

This game is like starship troopers, but better.

You drop into (as of writing this) either an enemy robot faction controlled area, or a bug controlled faction area.

Both of the fronts require different play styles but once you figure this out, you'll be good.

The game play is really entertaining and fast paced, you WILL be overwhelmed at some point and you can either flee like a coward or make your stand and go down like a REAL MAN!

However what this game also comes with is its' own problems.

-Bugs, as in game breaking/game crashing bugs and NOT the faction. where you HAVE to die to actually get out of an area you got stuck in or restart your entire computer because the game for some reason decided to freeze your entire PC as you pressed 'Quit to Desktop'.

-VERY slow content. You might get lucky if they announce something like a new warbond here and there during the year.
Slow content somewhat like TF2 type of content flow.
They did release a '60-day update plan' and went through with it which did get a lot of support as it gave us what we wanted. It however did not really give us one important thing that I will talk about in my next point.

-Basically NO, 0. ZERO...
LATE. GAME. STUFF.
Once you unlock all the things that you can get (took me around 268 hours most of it was just having fun), there is NOTHING for you, aside the occasional warbond that once it comes out, you complete in a couple of hours because you grinded it out. There is nothing more, the only thing I have to get is to level 150, but I will not be grinding it out to there only playing for fun from now on.

The Development team NEEDS to up their game on the speed the new content gets released, as ALL late game players experience the same feeling of basically being able to do NOTHING but have fun.

You might ask "How is having fun bad?"- It's not, by all means have fun I do so too- but I find myself playing 1-2 MISSIONS before I come off and play something else.

This does NOT raise the game hours of the players if they literally come on to have fun as there is no sense of achievement at the end because you get nothing- as you unlocked everything.

All these negatives aside should you even consider getting this game? Yes, by all means yes.
If you think you'll like the game by all means get it, I have nothing to get from it unless new stuff releases but I still had 270 hours of this game taking my life away.

Good game for having fun and feeling like a glass cannon character against PvE.

If you don't like the game after you play it, you can always refund it!

Please give your game way more love than it's getting Arrowhead, it deserves it.

The Flash Game shooter most people grew up with.

It's everything good about the shooter but improved, You have buy-able cosmetics (unlockable by in-game currency or drops after completed games [No micro-transaction bs!]), You have a weapon system similar to the one in SFH 2, side quest missions (mini-game type stuff) as well as a totally overhauled campaign! It's the same campaign but much better!

And on top of that improved graphics obviously- It was really worth the wait.

Sure there may be some glitches in the game now but for me so far nothing game breaking, some rockets stop mid-air for some reason, sometimes the subtitles for a person says "Event_Zone" instead of their actual voiceline which should be a very simple fix.

If you enjoyed the original flash game, you'll absolutely love this game I assure you, worth the full price to experience your childhood again.

Wowie a new game! I hope this game is owned by a company that actually cares for their players and hears them out!

I am so excited for the PVE gamemode that they basically said was the reason for creating the same game!

I really hope it's everything we were thinking it's going to be and they don't pull back giving us a horrible counterpart to this!
