Completely BLASTS the 2013 version of this game out of the water, but still kicks my ass just as much. I love it

Highly stylized mystery thriller that takes you on a journey to photograph squirrels and their nut stashes.

This game hooked me right out off the bat with its relaxing atmosphere, sound design, and general feel with its unique art style. The ending (with no spoilers) was a bit more open and probably added a few more questions instead of answering any. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though, I still felt satisfied even with that open ended-ness, it felt more appropriate for the game to end that way instead of knowing exactly what happened/what will happen. You could easily complete it in only one sitting, and I wish that I could experience this game again with a fresh mind!

Got this game near the beginning of its life and it's been an absolute blast watching it grow the way it has! I am a huge fan of Rougelike games and this hits absolutely everything you'd want in one. Time soars when you play this game, an entire hour could feel like 10 minutes, and that's in no way a bad thing. Definitely one of my favorite games to release in a very long time.
