The recent update to the game's primary (only) form of replayability, Mirror Dungeon, brought only a single good change (merging rest points and shops into a single stop) while also introducing many, many negative changes (removal of permanent buffs in the form of the starlight tree, nerfing several good EGO gifts, adding an extra floor to normal difficulty Mirror Dungeon, adding the ability to get duplicates of EGO gifts that are only good for selling/fusion fodder, and the introduction of every fight being a chain battle) all in an effort to make Mirror Dungeon more of a chore to play through more than the minimum amount required to get the weekly bonus.

Why would intentionally make a game mode worse by making it feel like a chore to play through, you might ask. Well, one only needs to look at the other incoming change to find out way - starting soon, story related IDs (characters) will have a one week delay before they can be acquired through dispensing them with shards (a form of currency that can be grinded out by repeatedly playing Mirror Dungeon) vs. simply rolling them on release.

Put these two changes together and it's pretty easy to see Project Moon has decided they aren't making as much money off of Limbus' gacha system as they believe they should be and are taking steps to make it more tedious and annoying for people to acquire new IDs for free rather than paying to roll for them. This is just the latest step in PM's downward greed tumble since the introduction of Walpurgisnacht banners, but these changes are, to me personally, the step too far where I have to drop the game and leave a negative review until they're reverted.
