Very lack luster and boring. Even as a major, major lotr fan; I can't suggest this to people who are looking for a very engaging experience. The game itself is a good core, but the combat is abhorrently boring. Left click simulator with really no reason to dodge. Blocking takes up all damage and is insanely easy.

The gathering in the game is mind numbing, and over all it's just a pretty boring experience.

That being said, I adore the fact its quite true to lore.

Terrible non-stop packet loss anymore. Game was ruined with the Demon Horde update. Won't fix their terrible servers. Don't buy, dead.

Game is super, super fun. The Cinematic Graphics are absolutely amazing. Love the VFX, and Sound Effects respectively.

I do have to say though, the AI needs a major overhaul. Near constantly units are getting stuck on rocks, and are otherwise just unwieldy. It'd be amazing if there was a more concise RTS feel to the commander position, and more ability / interaction with units; like dismounting vehicles, better formations, and more concise planning without having to stare over them like a vulture 24/7.

Dropship could also be really improved if there was a better ability of loading / unloading troops from it.

Aliens could benefit more by more additions to keep them from having to play direct aggro right off the bat. ATM if you'd side as alien, and not drive right for humans to destroy their harvesters; you'll easily lose.

Consider adding better ways of acquiring harvesters as-well, as destroying any amount of them is absolutely devastating.

Aliens could also benefit from a few AA variant aliens; as if you play long-term with them ,it's super easy for humans to just bomb the F out of you, and it's over.


Beyond that, the game is really great; and has a lot of potential. My friends absolutely enjoyed it for the small bits we played it at first. Continue the good work.

Models are killing it.

Imagine removing key features, just because you are insecure over your own game.

Great game, reminiscent of Zero Hour - but still overall a good game. AI's need a crap ton of work, and way better voice lines. Bad guys also need a health debuff. Dudes will take a 300. Blackout three times to the chest and still be kicking, meanwhile me in heavy armor takes one 9mm and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drops like i got hit with a thing of 357.

Also should add sniper capabilities 8)

Great game, just hate how you have to pay money monthly just to customize your spartan. Halo used to be amazing for it's ability to appeal towards various styles for the Mjolnir armor variants - but now it's locked behind a pay wall.

Love the music to this game. IT is lovely and relaxing to listen and watch.
