Crashed on A World Wampire Queen.
To much special effects and number scaling for one dev to handle properly.

This is a hidden gem amonf thousands games here on Steam.
I thinked sometime trying to remember enything similar, and only thing that came to mind was "Solitaire Conspiracy". Not perfect match by any means, but similat in terms of storytelling and level of abstraction.

I very much like the idea, I also like visuals (eah, it's AI art, but i see it as a ~50% discount on game's price, so no complains).

But, I think it needs some more QOL stuff. For example:
- There will be nice to have a button near card's name, that just automaticaly queed mandatory tasks. Saves a lot of clicks, then main mission is done and I only need to level all other cards. Also, I personally think, that mandatory complition need to move to 50% instead of 45% = most of the time I click once on 5% task and then shift+click it again. This small change save me a click. And oh boy, this could stack up fast.
- Another small thing - display current time speed boost near resource multiplayers in the top section of the screen.
- Another big qol addition can be card presets. Personally, I play the same preset of cards for first-second-third episode, and it is tedious to change them every time.
- And the last one is the "plan" mechanic. It's nice, that it exists, but I'd prefer if it will record all my actions in exact same order, as I make them. Oh, and it will be nice, if game starts paused, if there are some "planned" actions, because in early game I constatly tweaked order of actions as my multiplayers goes up.

And lastly, I want to suggest new gamemode, "ironman" version of "random" button - in this gamemode player can only play random cards each episode and have one reroll (of one card or everything) in the beginnig and +1 reroll for the first complition of every episode.

In the end I want to wish the dev(s?) inspiration and strength to continue working on this and future games, I will watch for updates.

Also, I probably update my reviw when I beat the game.

1st person is a nightmare for factory building

Ruined idle and crashed and burned platformer at the same time.

6/10 = Neutral with hope that things get better over time.

Cons - Clunky, buggy, grindy.

Pros - immersive, highly customizible and stable game (for the time of writing there wasn't a single crash, and that is crucial for permadeath playthrough)
I strongly advise to watch some youtube videos to get the feel.

Complaines so far:
- Clunky UI, can't swap things (ie one backpack with another, super annoing)
- I don't like sidescrolling in inventory.
- Weired double layerd RPG system.
= [Potrentialy fixed in 1.4.3] Sometimes small "containers" (wallet, lunchbox) get's corrupted and random amount of connected slots did not accept things. For example: In small wallet 2 of 6 slots are broken and don't accept money/creds. Especially annoing with fast (+ctrl) sorting.
= [fixed in 1.4.3] Why the hell "Esc" button don't work on map/journal?!
- Unscippable UE5 Logo

PS I know about all the drama around MP/co-op, but...

I will literally forget about "7 days" until it's release (another decade, I guess :D) if Surrounded will recieve decent co-op.

Best Solitaire Collection, even excluding NSFW stuff.
This game beats games with $10+ price.
Must have, if you like Solitaire games.

Ближайшие аналоги по ощущениям - Grim Clicker и SPACEPLAN.

Отличная игра, слежу ещё с предыдущей части, жду 1.0.
