Most CRPGs I've played are a much longer endeavor, and can often feel like they (or some of their mechanics anyway) outstay their welcome. What I loved about this game is that compared to others of the genre it is much shorter, which some may not like but I rather enjoyed the story it was nothing exceptionally grand and that's okay for the scale of the game. Writing ranges from decent to marginally below average, I enjoyed the characters in the game, and despite the relatively small scale it felt like my choices had huge impact. I played through it over the course of about a week and thoroughly enjoyed it, I think it's perfect if you're not looking for something that will take hundreds of hours to complete, if you're looking for a game to play between releases, or if you're looking for an alternate perspective (playing as a villain rather than a hero).

Missile Alert

Gave my general a neat red glowing sword. That general proceeded to conquer the world. 10/10 would cause madness in exchange for power again.

I'll be honest when I first downloaded this game I was semi-skeptical of it, but after recently getting back into it I can't praise it enough. It offers a surprisingly well developed world for an IP that (as far as I know) hasn't had any previous entries in the series, it has a cast of lovable characters, even the antagonists are interesting. With a hybrid style of modern and classic RPG's where you have fast paced action oriented combat, but also including a more tactical style where you can meticulously plan out your next moves or use your next consumable. Overall (without even getting into the story) I would say that this game is definitely worth playing, the only department I would say it falls short on would be graphics but in the end I think all the other elements are more important anyways.

It's like Company of Heroes, but better!

Played game as portugal, everyone hated me but I made money. 10/10 would rob everyone again.

Went on the beach, met a crying orc, made friends with the crying orc, proceeded to kill the crying orc. 10/10 would betray friendship again.

So I picked up this game a while ago and it kinda sat in my library for a while because I bought ME 1 around the same time, so I play all the way through ME 1 and get to know all of the characters. Fast forward to me starting a new game, I thought all was going to be great until I died. Then after being resurrected I realized that all of the characters I have grown to know and love had all moved on away from me and that I was essentially on my own against a dangerous enemy with only a bunch of rascist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around me. Then I recruit back two of my former squad and was so happy that I had some familiar faces around. Later on I learned that one of the former squad was in love with me since ME 1 and that I had been ignoring them the entire time. Then more towards the end something catastrophic happened and a lot of people that I had now grown closer to died. The ending was extremely satisfying and very emotional based on who died.

10/10 would cry from a fictional character death again.

Be me couple of days ago (as of 06/11/2016): Hey this game looks fun lets get it
Start up game immediately feeling overwhelmed, doesn't last as tutorial helps me get a basic understanding of what I need to do, play for five hours straight going through multiple technologoies still haven't met any other races; turn game off for the night because it's late. Next day after work playing stellaris find primitive mushroom people, I decide that as my xenophobic militaristic human faction I would eliminate these heretics, bombard the planet for three years, the land invasion is going to begin, invade with five divisions and crush all resistance. Purge the remaining survivors, I am a combination of the emperor of mankind from warhammer 40k and Adolf Hitler.

10/10 would commit genocide again.

So I was supposed to go clear a place of ghouls, but instead I befriended them, that is until they told me to clear the basement after that I got scared and shut the game off.
10/10 would Ghoul again.(Serious review below)






















So far this game is really enjoyable the only thing that I can find wrong with it is you can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you don't watch for mines but I may not just be careful enough. If you enjoy RPG games and such I would recommend it.
