"Best in Class" and "Genre-defining" are phrases that come to mind when I think of this game. "4X in Space" is a hard genre to get right, and Stellaris went through a lot of iterations to get where it is. It's not perfect, but it does a ton of things right. And very few other "4X in space" games attempt to capture as much depth as this.

You'll spend money on expansions though. lmao

This is a "Top 10 of All Time" kind of game. Been playing since the kickstarter (2014 or whatever). For more than a decade, this game has been in the rotation. No other game has lasted that long in my memory. It's truly a masterpiece.

Levels don't matter. Stats don't matter. Bugs don't matter. Bots don't matter. All that matters is friendship, cooperation, and carefully managed democracy.

After 1000 hours in this, I should probably say something about it. Definitely top 10 ww2 simulators. Boring, unplayable mess that causes you to go blind and is more stressful than work or school. Do not buy. Do not play with your friends if you want to stay friends. Nobody is good at this game, and it's simultaneously the easiest game ever and the most complicated, intricate game of min-maxing ever developed. Just tell steam to ignore it and never look back.

Just easy enough to be a nice relaxation game to play. Hard enough to keep you invested and emotionally involved. Fun to play with friends. I should have jumped on this years ago.

Since Cicero 1.2 dropped, this game has been lots of fun. Complex enough to really enjoy. UI could use some work. It's pretty plain looking. But the dev diary is pretty solid so far.

It's a nice blend of previous titles' mechanics with some brand new ones that seem well balanced.

Workflow is high, but the game is brilliant. If you don't mind clicking a lot, this game is amazing. Graphics are lame, but the complexity is really good.

As good as or better than the originals. Graphics are updated and manage to maintain the beautiful asthetics of the game universe. The plot and content hold up, even if the control scheme is a little clunky.

Well worth the price.

Solid. Fun. Nuanced enough for tons of replayability.
