insanely good gunplay (tho, the assault rifle feels like it falls out of favor after a while once you get more options), really detailed level design, secrets out the ass of varying difficulty to find. i got about 10 hours of gameplay out of this, spread out over a few days, and given that more is to come I'm happy with my purchase.

the 'dead' periods between battles are a lil much at points sometimes, but still had a great time stumbling into the next ambush setpiece throwdown.

Well, was a pretty solid mod despite it being more of an hour long deal, hard combat with a lack of HUD and slowly regenerating health (that you can speed up with medpacks hidden around). Had to reload a lot because of meh platforming skills, but I enjoyed it. Music was top notch, same for the atmosphere and level design.

Unlikely to get an Act Two, judging by the devs working on a new game and saying they wanted to focus more on stuff like that when I asked them.
