Brain hurts.

Man, I'm bad at this game, but it doesn't feel unfair.
Very nice looking aesthetics and music.

This game is good and fun. The content will hopefully continue to grow through DLC, a decent amount of which has already been released on console and will trickle out for PC soon. Hopefully there's a lot more to come, too.

They managed to fix the worst of the connection issues and multiplayer now actually works, which makes the game even more enjoyable.

This game succeeds at what it sets out to do pretty damn well. It's charming and enjoyable for what it is.
The soundtrack is fantastic, as should be expected.

Not exactly Game of the Year, and it definitely doesn't deserve the frankly excessive amount of acclaim and attention it's getting, but no video game ever could deserve this much fanfare anyway.

Worth a buy, especially for the price. More than worth the cost based on the enjoyment you'll get out of it.

Game of the Year 2012, it's got all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trains you could ask for in a game.
You want steam trains? ♥♥♥♥ YES WE GOT THAT ♥♥♥♥
You want diesel trains? WELL BLOW ME DOWN, GUESS THEY HAVE THAT TOO
Want ELECTRIC ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TRAINS? ♥♥♥♥ YES THEY HAVE THAT, WHAT ARE YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DENSE?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ these trains just DON'T QUIT COMING, there are at least 100 different trains in this probably, and all of them are just WAITING to be driven at your leisure.
Never before have I seen this many trains in one game, aside from maybe the opening to Final Fantasy XIII which is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game because you can't even drive trains in it.
This game suffers no such drawbacks, as you can in fact drive the trains within.
Not even any of that fake driving ♥♥♥♥ either, where they make you choose just go or slow down. You can drive ANY WAY YOU WANT. Want more coal? SHOVEL THAT ♥♥♥♥ IN THE FURNACE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Gotta go fast? GO AS FAST AS YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LIKE, YOU ARE THE CONDUCTOR.
