Fully deserves the 99% positive reviews. This game is great.
Very cozy experience even if a little short. You should really take your time to explore everything the game has to offer. I was surprised to see so many things to do.

They somehow managed to put more Outer Wilds inside Outer Wilds. This works perfect as an expansion, it gives a bit more background on what happened in the base game and at the same time is fully separate and optional.

Definitely recommend exploring after playing through the base game. Never loose hope when you get stuck and instead try different approaches. Just like the base game you will want to play this as blindly as possible without looking up anything. Just like the base game it feels incredibly satisfying to find certain pieces of information and suddenly everything makes sense.

i never knew retro resolution scale and retro animation framerate were things i needed in my life. it feels like an old N64 game but plays extremely smoothly with gameplay that just leaves you wanting more.
it really is a shame that it's so short but definitely worth it for the price.

This game is simply amazing and i consider it one of my favourite games in a library of 500+

It's visually stunning with amazing dynamic music based on what happens in the game. Every moving thing is physics based rather than using fixed animations which makes everything actually feel natural and alive. The world is huge and has multiple areas and sub-areas that each have their own unique looks and feel to them.

"Life is simply unfair" - One of the biggest joys is overcoming the odds. It is absolutely unfair and unforgiving at times but that itself is one of the main charms of this game.

10/10 game overall if you can deal with frustration - also the expansion is more than worth it
