Incredibly addictive. The new council and communities mechanics are exactly the kind of depth this style of survival builder benefits from. I've seen lots of people look negatively upon the fact the game isn't exactly 'more of Frostpunk 1', but I think they've managed to do an incredible job of capturing the original's identity and atmosphere whilst also creatively expanding upon the first game's mechanics and look.

What I have to say immediately is, be careful to not read too much into the game - DO NOT spoil anything about this game if there's even a small part of you that is still deciding whether to purchase.

If you manage to open the game for the first knowing absolutely nothing, I guarantee that you'll be captivated from first load to final exit. This game is awe-inspiring from start to finish and to be honest it really caught me by surprise how much I enjoyed it. Outer Wilds gives me a lot of hope that original gaming experiences can still be created in a market that can sometimes be overly saturated with unoriginal ideas.

I'd recommend this game to absolutely anyone, I recently finished the game and boy do I wish I could just turn back time and play it blindly all over again.
