I'd like to preface this review by stating that I bought this game purely for research & documentation purposes. I am not a furry nor do I have some sort of goo/transformation fetish, I pinky promise. With that disclaimer out of the way, on to the review!

Y'know, for a game loaded with uh... "sensual" transformation scenes, it's surprisingly deep with its story. Now you're not going to need an entire Historia to understand the lore of Changed but the backstory is intriguing to learn about as you progress through the game. I'm not going to spoil any of it here since a general playthrough only takes about 2 hours to complete, though most of your time playing Changed will be spent trying to get around the various puzzles and obstacles that get in your way.
Changed is without a doubt pretty difficult. I wouldn't call it Furry Dark Souls exactly but I guarantee that it will be frustrating during certain sections. It may even feel a bit unfair at times, but stay determined and you can persevere to the end. All I can say is there will be many reloads. Make sure you've got a guide handy just in case you need it.

I should note that if you (for whatever reason) decide to buy this game, a nifty little bonus in the form of Changed-special will be included with your purchase. Changed-special is a remastered version of the original game with additional story bits, levels, and (somehow) even zestier transformations than the base game! This version is also more forgiving by providing more checkpoints, but it'll still kick your angus steakburgers regardless. Achievements are only obtainable in Changed OG, so I'd only play through Changed-special if you like the Changed world and want to experience the new content included in the remaster for yourself.

So now it's time for the big question: Would I recommend Changed? Yes, yes I would recommend the weird furry game with surprisingly deep lore. Whether you're somebody looking to cringe at the goo furries or someone who is entranced by them, this is a one of a kind game that can satisfy both parties. After all, this is one of those games that you must see for yourself in order to truly believe!
