Abandoned and broken. Whenever you pause the game or the game is paused automatically from a mechanic like a new window pops up, anything that is currently being simulated will get stuck. Drivers on the map, police, cars being repaired, auctions, cars that have deals pending waiting to be collected. Everything gets stuck. If you bring a new driver out whilst simulation is stuck, this will work fine. Anything started after the pause works great until there's another pop up window or the game gets paused.
