Are you bright?

Will you light the way?
Or will you engulf it?
You only have so much kindling,
Will you spread yours chaotically?
Steal and consume the energy of others?
Will you control and subsume your fire?
Or let it burn fast and free?
Even if you tend the fires of others,
The darkness always wins in the end.
