For starters, I am a huge Harry Potter fan and could easily be considered quite biased...

BUT! I will also say that outside of the rough performance at launch, this is genuinely a fantastic single-player RPG. The story was very enjoyable, and the side stories also contain plenty of action rather than being the usual filler crap. Character creation was a little lackluster, and the pool of NPC faces is a little small, but the number of possible combinations of clothing pieces along with transmogs is staggering. Finally, the visuals are amazing. I did not know what to expect when the devs made it clear that they would be creating a different take on the Hogwarts we know and love, but I was very happily surprised to see what they came up with. It could easily become the new definitive version of Hogwarts.

Had to fiddle with it a little to stop some pretty serious framerate problems, but it's fun playing through FFXV again without having to hear my PS4 turn into a jet engine. Graphically I would say it's largely the same, just as pretty as the original game was. Definitely recommend if you like FF or just RPGs in general.

This is a good spin-off/sequel game to P4. Easy enough to learn in order get through the story without being good at fighting games, but I've also seen what it looks like when people who ARE good at fighting games play it so there's definitely a higher skill ceiling as well if you're into that. I'm perfectly content to just whoop the bots while Deep Breath Deep Breath plays in the background, though lol

This game is short, but definitely worth the price. When considering the visuals and story (and the fact that the game actually released in a finished and playable state), I'd say that this is a GOTY contender for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone.

This game is set in a fantasy world similar to 1930s-40s Europe (I believe they called it Europa, as a matter of fact) during a major conflict between two opposing forces. One fights for the expansion of its empire while the other fights to be freed of their tyranny. It's not hard to see where the inspiration came from.

The story is enjoyable, although at times even reminding myself that it is a fantasy story can't entirely stop me from saying "Yeah, right. Like that would happen." I also find some of the controls *cough* tank *cough* to be a bit clunky, and there are a few instances of stumbling into different mechanics or menus that could use more explanation.

There are interesting leveling mechanics that involve leveling an entire class of soldiers at once, as well as a gear creation system. There is also a mechanic that isn't really explained that allows your soldiers to be promoted as they gain experience. There is also permadeath, but it is easily avoidable if you act quickly enough.

Finally, the graphics are very interesting. This so-called canvas engine gives the feeling of hand-drawn wartime sketches in motion. It's hard to describe beyond that, but it certainly differentiates this game from other anime-styled games with samey 3D models.

Overall, I would recommend this game, and rate it a 7/10.

Good PvP game with (almost) well-balanced assymetrical combat. Hopefully the balance will be worked out *coughcough*Deceiver OP*coughcough* before final release, but still extremely enjoyable.
