The game has fallen from what it used to be. The developers removed Pavlovs lively workshop preferring to substitute it with a 3rd party web page for mods.

Though that does not matter since you will be lucky to find any servers utilizing mods due to the only players present using PSVR with Sony disliking almost all forms of custom content.

Any videos you might have seen 2 years ago will not reflect the current state of the game, you will be playing on objectively bad, repetitive maps with the new content being skins and mor mediocre maps.

I would not recommend purchasing this game at it's current state since the player base has experienced a decline which will most likely not change in the near future.

Cons:
- Playerbase has declined rapidly
- Workshop has ceased to exist
- Mods have to be downloaded online, selection of mods has lowered drastically
- No active servers/players hosting custom maps
- Addition of crossplay with PSVR made 90% of the playerbase children
- New content often in forms of skins and maps
- Maps are repetitive and mediocre, nothing stands out.

Pros:
- Good gunplay & handling
- Decent selection of gamemodes
- Character movement is quite polished
- Possibility to create custom things due to UE5
- Gun variety, Japan update coming soon
