Honestly, I want to give this game a positive review but I can't. The AI is given a handicap that makes the most basic aspect of the game unplayable. they can pick and chose armies to attack disregarding proximity to other cities or heroes nullifying your efforts to shore up defenses. the only way to make the game fair is to subscribe to mods to handicap the AI heavily. something the developers should have done years ago, but they don't care. they already have your money. save your money and efforts, just don't buy the game.
