This is probably the best single player game ive played in years, the combat is fantastic, the story was actually not terrible. It doesnt fall into the same patterns as the souls games where all of the "story" is told through lore pieces while the characters dont actually tell you any exposition. The music in this game is actually really good as well, the records are very nice to have "quixotic" being my favourite record.

A very charming Role-play game, well voice acted, and sang. The characters feel really well written, from Characters with deep seated trauma to ones who are fresh out of the water. The music is solid, keeps up with some of the best from other role-play/adventure games. "Lost at Sea" being a particularly great example of a very simple song performed and set up nicely for the couple times it appears through the story. The art style meanwhile is great, drawn vignette by vignette and the smears between movements of the characters when they are there are great. All in all a fantastic game to play through especially if you love music.

Devs cant fix half of the issues, instant defuse breaks, drop shotting shield ops, they only care about getting out of frost mats.

Dying Light 2 is fantastic, 100% better than Dying Light 1. Traversal feels better than ever with Aiden being able to do insane moves such as super Long jumps, and tictacs/wallruns. Combat is significantly better, unfortunately its not incredibly in depth because the enemies are fairly generic after hour 4 or 6. Blocks feel good and so do parries, but there just isnt a lot of skill required in it. Possibly a better way to do this would be to take a look at Dead Island (Techland's earlier Zombie game). The thing i want to look at is the "Analog" control system, where you would be holding right bumper on your controller then hold your stick in one direction then flick it to the opposite side to attack, this could be adapted to combat in this game to attack in certain ways to get past certain guard stances. Better yet you could also make it so the parry/guard system was linked to this, similar to a game like "The Surge 2" where you had to hold a button to guard but when you flicked the right stick in a certain direction at the correct time it would parry a move provided you got the direction right. This would add for more varied and difficult combat while allowing for an assist mode or simple combat mode for people who do not feel like mastering such a combat system. The Story is not terrible, its leaps and bounds ahead of the first game however its a little too ambitious for its own good, a lot of the "curveballs" thrown at you are not only easily spotted, they feel cheap like a third party PS2 controller. The characters are not bad most of the time, some characters are just pants on head stupid, and more annoying than Rahim in DL1 which i didnt think were possible. All in all a way better game, if they added that idea about parries and attacking maybe it could be excellent.

So much customization in forms of playstyle and loadouts depending on what you want to do, Music is Beautiful and the most fitting music ive seen in a video game bar none.

Snappy movement, and combat. Not much else to say about it other than there are forced walking sections between each fight which are kind of annoying except for the autowalk feature.

I love this game however there are some things that need changing. The humor in this game is fantastic, or in other words the same stuff as before but its still hilarious. Dragon Engine physics are still beautiful, nothing like seeing a boss land on a piece of furniture and bounce to the ceiling. It would be fantastic if we could get an accessability option for people who either dont play these games often or who have issues with recognizing timing windows for the perfect guard. Whether it be a white circle appearing under the character attacking or the person getting attacked.
