An overall decent fighting game, but the best thing about it is the OST.

Game balance continues getting skewed more and more every season. Some characters can wall break in 2 hits, while most have to work EXTENSIVELY for it.

I swore that if Johnny and Slayer were ever added to the game, it would ruin it. My prophecy spoke true when I saw Slayer's moveset.

Game competitiveness went down the drain, and was somewhat dead on arrival. My reason for saying this is because of how the "ranked floors" work. You have digital lobbies and can choose who you fight. It's not like the fighting games of old, where you went into a queue and got randomly matched based on rank & MMR. Instead you can choose to fight only favorable matchups for your character. I've had plenty of people challenge me wearing a badge specifically for my character. Take ranks and floors with a grain of salt due to this. Not only that but everything past floor 10 (Which isn't hard to achieve to begin with) is called Celestial. Most of the competitive playerbase gets lumped in here, so you have varying skill levels which further skew the perception of matchmaking and balance.

Due to all of these reasons, I'd give it a hard no if you want it to be your main fighter. If you're just vibing with the boys and playing casually though, it's a good time.

Spend your time and money elsewhere.

Most of my hours went into the EA/Alpha playtest, where the game has barely changed at all.

A generic looter shooter that has no real potential to be anything more than a cash grab later down the line. If you were to ask me about the game's personality, I'd tell you that it has none. It rips parts from Warframe, Destiny, and other similar titles but does none of the plagiarized concepts well in any regard.

A steep hardware requirement for a game that is significantly worse than the two titles listed above. The guns are uninteresting; having a generic type/ammo pool and then randomly rolled substats on that weapon. The projectiles don't suddenly change or get unique. One shotgun will feel the exact same as a different shotgun obtained from that same area/boss. Coming from a game like warframe, this felt like a disappointment with gunplay. This will bring me to my next point; no dedicated melee combat. Every character has a melee button, with a cooldown, that can be modified loosely with mods (You only have one mod slot for this), and future spamming between this window will just yield a wet-noodle-equivalent-attack. Games like Warframe and Destiny have a lot more fun options that involve melee, if that's your thing.

Hero designs aesthetically, are uninspired, with I'd say the only decent one being Bnnuy, Sharen, and Valby. The rest can be summed up as "generic asian character in either tactical combat gear, or casual attire." This isn't even accounting for the VERY cringe and low-effort intros for each character, and the EN VA is laughable at best. No matter how good a character's kit is, always having to stare and listen to them be cringe is grating. If I have to listen to Bunny's cringe voice one more time, I'm going to commit myself to solitary confinement. Sure I could play in another language, but that doesn't take away that the devs clearly didn't care about taking the extra effort to make the game feel unique or presentable.

Story is forgettable and hasn't really captured anyone from the people I've spoken to thus far. The open world segments aren't really "open world" and is just more of an instance available to strangers. There's no activity going on when you arrive, and enemies ONLY spawn when you start a mission.

Mission Variety: Nonexistant. You'll be doing the same cookie cutter designs and rip offs from other games. "Oh, this is Excavation from Warframe" "Oh, this is Sabotage" and so on. It actually gets kind of boring after awhile, because it's all just "kill a few waves, do a minor objective" and then you're done. SOMETIMES, there will be a boss to kill but that's about it.

Bosses: Plot bosses have unique mechanics, but they get overshadowed by the boss in question being an absolute bullet sponge. I'm okay with a boss being meaty to some degree, but I think it's a bit much if a boss goes invulnerable, summons some tethers with balls on the end that you have to shoot, and the balls refuse to die in 2 clips of an AR, then idk what else to say.. Fights in this game are drawn out by the sheer massive health pools of enemies, meanwhile you feel unimpactful and that you're not making much progress. Colossus bosses are OKAY, but again turn into bullet sponges at a certain point.

Egregious and sexualized MTX's are a classic of asian themed games, and this one is no exception. Just look at bnnuy, and then ultimate bnnuy.. Oh, wanted to put your character in a maid outfit and give cat ears? No problem. Oh, want to personalize your character with dyes? It's a shame that the only way to get dyes is from the cash shop at an overpriced cost.

Nexon games have a history of eventually starting out decent, but turn into games for whales as the playerbase dwindles. The greed in this one is immense for not even putting out a good product.

Did I mention they prevent you from typing too much in the chat? Even in a party chat with your friends. You'll find yourself being throttled by how often you can type, which feels.. a bit bizarre. Normally you want to prevent certain words and behaviors, rather than the quantity of messages. Next, we'll give you an example of the censorship because the devs either don't care enough about the EN playerbase to change it, or are lazy. Did you just get a fancy new weapon and want to tell your friends what you got? There are sniper rifles in this game, but unfortunately you won't be able to type that. If you type "sniper" in your chat, it will say "This message contained a banned word" and will not be sent. Let me put this into perspective: You are unable to type a word, of a weapon that's IN the game, because it contains the word "nip" :^) This level of laziness shows how unwilling the devs are to put effort into polishing the game. Yes, I wrote a report about this in the EA. Still was not fixed.

TLDR; uninteresting playable characters, boring story, bullet sponge bosses, generic guns, nexon; overpriced and sexualized MTX, game runs horribly.

Genuinely just move on with this one. You could get a better experience from warframe or destiny, both of which can be played on MUCH less powerful hardware than this one demands.
