I only played it through family sharing and therefore have to post the review on my BFs account:

I would recommend this game to everyone who enjoys to torture oneself. My biggest enemy in Dark Souls were not the bosses themselves but - like in so many other games - gravity that ♥♥♥♥♥. Sometimes your are not only going to need a good stamina regeneration in the game itself but also in reality (or a boyfriend who helps you out) because some places are just f***ing hard. Nevertheless it is a great and marvellously designed game that never stops to challenge you while also maintaining a tight grip on you because you just can't get enough of that satisfying feeling when you once again managed to get one step further even if it took you hours to get there. (I'm currently 36 h into the game and are still running against the Anor Londo Archers. Thus - according to my boyfriend - is the boss with whom I'm going to have the most fun still ahead of me and therefore I should write this review before I end up uninstalling DS1 and going to therapy...)
