Counter-Strike 2 is a genuinely great game at its core. The updated graphics, smoother movement, responsive gunplay, and refined maps make it feel like a modern upgrade while still keeping the classic CS atmosphere. The mechanics are satisfying, the competitive matches are intense, and when everything works as intended, it delivers some of the best FPS gameplay out there.

However, one of the biggest problems holding the game back is the amount of cheaters. Running into players using unfair advantages can quickly ruin otherwise great matches, especially in ranked mode. While Valve has made some steps toward improving anti-cheat, it doesn’t always feel effective, and it can be frustrating for honest players who just want a fair game.

Overall, CS2 is a strong and enjoyable game with amazing potential — but the cheating issue is a major drawback that needs more serious attention.
