Needs a massive rebalance, and all the most annoying features from the original have been carried over and made worse. Ascendancies now take 20-30 minutes instead of 5-10 and are much harder. Enemies are bullet sponges, taking forever to kill while posing no threat to the player. Maps are massive and you spend ages backtracking through empty zones, and narrow corridors everywhere make it impossible to skip enemies. Massive maps plus respawning enemies mean you're stuck in each map for ages. The whole game is slow and tedious, and I don't know why. Hard pass for now.

Even two months after launch it's still filled with gamebreaking bugs like softlocks and broken multiplayer.
On top of that, the gameplay is poorly designed and it's clear from dev feedback that this is a deliberate decision.
The game trains you to ignore dodge alerts since you hear them for attacks targeted at your teammates, then punishes you when you do.
Parrying, a core gameplay feature, is in many situations actually harmful since it leaves you exposed.
On top of that, the amount of content is far too little for a full priced game, it should be much cheaper for what you get.

Last patch ruined the game

Has potential, but is far from complete, incredibly buggy and crashes constantly.
In 6-12 months it might be worth buying, but right now it's clearly still in early beta despite being officially 'released'

Great game, but the last update (which was months ago) ruined performance, and now it's laggy and unplayable, and apparently abandoned.

Can't currently recommend this game if you have VR, it crashes frequently and the performance is very poor even on the lowest settings.

EDIT: Patch 1.07 fixed the crashes, the performance issues still remain

Fun concept, but interface issues and constant crashes make this a thumbs down for me.
