The game is good—could be great with some much needed bandwidth logic built into the infrastructure of the game play—but between all the different means in which you can play, there are some issues with networking. One of the trickier parts of game design is realizing when the base functionality of something's intended purpose has broadened beyond the scope of what was conceived when it was created, in which case, such functionality begins to degrade experiences and game stability.

Most of your users do not use a fiber line to connect to the internet, and comparatively, a twenty year old game (Garry's mod for example) does indeed have ancient limitations that aren't in the same ballpark as VR Chat, yet Gmod loads and displays tens of thousands of worlds of immense variety and size, which never causes a user to disconnect or timeout as often as I have experienced in VR Chat ON A WIRED FIBER LINE. VR is just visual interpretation and has nothing to do with how you handle networked entities in your game, and inaccurately sorting packet data into appropriate sizes based on a user's connection IS A STANDARD you negated.

It's a good game, but I worry that the devs don't possess the knowledge of how to execute practices that have been mainstays for more than two decades for EVERY mmo there has ever been.

Neat for heterosexuals, maybe bisexuals if you count the ♥♥♥♥ content or the ♥♥♥♥ scenes, nothing here for homosexuals. Still, it's fun... You can't choose your own adventure if you're not straight - just so LGBTQ+ knows not to buy if they're hoping for representation in gameplay... there's a "scene" but that's about it unless you open up console and 'make it happen.' Fun to see how simple a life can be for heteros. Recommended to friends... not my cup of tea, but who knows what content they'll release. Moderately disappointed, but also moderately surprised. Add some non-mainstream-sexuality... it's 2021... soon to be 2022 - you're behind the times!
